OMS+ has integrated DocuSign!
This new feature will help you speed up every agreement with your customers.
DataXstream is happy to release this new integration of DocuSign within OMS+ because integrations not only benefit end-users but also developers and businesses as a whole. By combining and reusing existing components rather than starting from scratch, we save time, resources, and effort. This translates into faster development, greater efficiency, and cost reduction for your business.
Let’s talk about it…
DocuSign is an electronic signature platform that enables individuals and businesses to sign documents digitally, eliminating the need for physical paper-based signatures.
The platform ensures the security and integrity of the signed documents through encryption and authentication measures. Each signature is uniquely tied to the signer’s identity, and the system generates a tamper-evident seal to prevent any unauthorized alterations to the document after signing. This ensures the legality and enforceability of the electronic signatures.
OMS+ has integrated this platform with the intention of accelerating workflow processes and tracking every sales task. In this example, we are using the DocuSign feature for quote approvals. However, it could also be used to meet additional business needs when it comes to capturing signatures.
How does it work?
In the easiest and most intuitive way. Once we have created the Quotation Order, with every desired material, we set a “valid to” date for it and save the Order. Once saved, release the Order and direct yourself to the Communications tab, you’ll find the Quotation Order PDF and the option to send it for signature request. DocuSign’s integration with OMS+ scans for signatures every five minutes, notifying customer service representatives (CSRs) for immediate action. This allows customers to deliver faster turn-around time for important documents.
The Signature Request option will display a field to compose an email to your customer. The email will send the PDF for the signature, and the status of the task will change to “In Process”, once signed and synced, the status will change to “Complete” attaching the new signed Quotation.
Extra
Remember to use your “Quote Follow-Up” option within the Communication tab to see detailed information about the whole Quotation Process and attachments.
Try this new functionality and provide secure document management to customers with ease with OMS+!
