Erik’s Bio

Erik Troan is co-founder and chief technology officer of Pendo, a venture-backed software company headquartered in downtown Raleigh. Erik started his career at Red Hat, where he worked as its first engineer and led the engineering team through the development of Linux, RPM and Anaconda and eventually, the company’s IPO. He later led product marketing at Red Hat and assisted in the acquisition and integration of nine other companies. Erik went on to found rPath in 2005, which sold to SAS in 2012. Erik earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and computer engineering from NC State University and a master’s degree in economics from the University of Virginia.

Global Vice President, Consumer Products

Harris’s Bio

Harris Fogel has global solution management responsibilities for the Consumer Products industry business unit within SAP. As the Global Vice President of Consumer Products, Harris is responsible for identifying and driving next generation business solutions, field enablement and go to market strategies to accelerate growth in the Consumer Products industry for SAP.
Prior to SAP, Harris has had a successful history of working with Consumer Products companies to drive their digital transformation. Harris launched Quofore’s operations and as President of the Americas, he established the company as the global DSD and Retail Execution solution leader according to Gartner. Prior to Quofore, he launched CAS’s operations in the America’s and helped drive the development and adoption of CAS’s Trade Promotion Management solution. Harris started his career with Procter and Gamble, is a past Chairman of the GMA (Grocery Manufacturers’ of America) Associate Member Council and is currently President of the P&G Alumni Association – Atlanta Chapter.

Based in Atlanta, Harris and his wife Stacye have two daughters. Harris received a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Georgia.

Thomas’s Bio

Thomas Nittmann grew up in New Jersey where he attended Stevens Institute of Technology and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating, Nittmann moved to Germany where he designed and implemented SAP software for Wilhelmshavener Raffineriegesellschaft mbH. After returning to the US he began working in Ernst & Young’s Management Consulting practice. Nittmann then co-founded Dataxstream, a Management Consulting Company, specializing in SAP and Oracle software implementations. After consulting for the movie industry, Nittmann co-founded Lola Visual Effects. Nittmann now serves as Managing Partner and Executive Producer at Lola Visual Effects where he draws from his extensive technical background and management consulting experience. He has worked on over 125 feature films.

Tim Yates has over 20 years of business experience with the last 15 focused on SAP systems architecture and program delivery.  He has a broad range of experience with a pragmatic, get the job done approach to engagements.  Tim specializes in development of SAP technical strategies and services for clients having successfully led multiple programs and projects.  His extensive SAP technical and functional background has enabled him to thrive in environments of all sizes and complexities.

Meet Scott Walker, our Chief of Staff at DataXstream. Since joining us in 2012 as an IT admin, Scott has become an invaluable liaison between our company and our esteemed customers. With over 8 years of experience and a strong SAP SD and Delivery background, Scott now spearheads strategic initiatives, streamlining operations, and fostering collaboration across teams, both customer-facing and internal. His exceptional ability to connect with clients has led him to drive innovation, collaborating with CEO Tim Yates in optimizing processes and ensuring a seamless experience for our customers. Scott’s expertise and dedication have ensured organizational success and extraordinary customer satisfaction.

Blake’s Bio

Blake has over 15 years of SAP consulting experience and was one of the first employees at DataXstream. President of DataXstream North America, Blake previously lead the Solution Engineering teams involved in pre-sales, product demonstrations, sales and solution engineering, as well as product roadmap support. Blake specializes in a deep understanding of customer processes and needs, and building out the best solutions for the organization.

Blake holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Indiana University earned with high distinction.

Jean-Jérôme’s Bio

Jean-Jérôme is responsible for the overall management and direction of DataXstream in EMEA. He is a multi-cultural executive with a deep understanding of the nuances in global business. He has a proven record in developing strategies and solutions to deliver on individual client’s specific needs. Jean-Jérôme started his career in the US at Thales, the global technology leader, where he oversaw SAP implementation. He has been a leader across many industries, including consulting, arts and culture, and technology. After completing his MBA at MIT and before joining DataXstream, Jean-Jérôme moved to Barcelona where he founded a tech company enabling retailers to better focus on customer experience and was Associate Partner at Digital Selection.

Diego’s Bio

Diego Perelman has over 25 years of experience implementing ERP solutions and performed the last 16 as Project and Program Manager at large consulting firms. He also has held a wide range of leadership roles such as Data, Testing and Cutover manager and Order to Cash Subject Matter Expert. Diego has worked in a diverse group of industries including Oil & Gas, Agro-industrial, Consumer Products and Public Sector. Through his experience working on global SAP implementations and Latin America rollouts, Diego has established a communication and leadership style that has proven effective in complex project environments and geographies.

Mike has 26 years of accounting and finance experience with a specialization in taxation and management of partnerships. After graduating from the University of Kentucky, Mike was hired by a small accounting firm in which he soon acquired partner status. In 1995, Mike passed the CPA exam with scores in the top 10% of the nation, and soon thereafter acquired his CPA license.

Cailin’s Bio

Prior to working at DataXstream Cailin Yates worked as an artist from 1994 to 2000. Her work, done primarily in pastel and gouache can be found in the Anheuser-Busch Corporate collection, Chesapeake Bank corporate collection as well as private collections. In 2009, during her time as an Avalon volunteer, Cailin joined the DataXstream team and founded the DataXstream Marketing department. Her artistic eye and specialization in visual rhetoric played a key role in her responsibilities. Cailin spent her first year creating the DataXstream brand, establishing brand awareness via digital channels, and content creation and curation. Eleven years later she now heads the DataXstream marketing team with all campaigns both internal and external.

Hernan’s Bio

Hernan Gioioso joined DataXstream in 2014 as a technical architect and quickly established himself as the head of the product development team. With a background in SAP ABAP and over 19 years of experience, Hernan as the Chief Product Officer oversees the development team and is largely responsible for the success of OMS+ tool. Hernan manages his team across the world (USA, Europe, and Latin America). Because of his ability to connect with clients, Hernan also participates in OMS+ implementation projects and collaborate with sales and presales.

Amanda’s Bio

Amanda is a key component of DataXstream’s complex financial operations and inner workings. Prior to joining the DataXstream team in 2019, Amanda spent several years working in the Accounting field by day and the Event Planning field by night (and weekends). After planning and coordinating over 200 weddings and events, Amanda retired from Event Planning to concentrate on her goals in the financial sector. She utilizes her specialized skill set to create a supportive and enjoyable working environment for DataXstream employees while ensuring that the business runs like a well-oiled machine.

Todd’s Bio

Today, as a Sr. Vice President at DataXstream, Todd focuses on delivery and business development – two things that require many hats inside a vibrant and growing technology company. He draws on his 25 years of industry experience within the SAP Ecosystem to deliver customer success. Throughout his career, Todd has led or participated in SAP engagements of all sizes, scope, and reach across many different industries.  While partnering on active engagements, Todd also drives DataXstream’s Delivery Business unit.

Alan’s Bio

Alan Teel joined DataXstream in 2015 as a Systems Analyst. Prior to working at DataXstream Alan accumulated over a decade of experience working as a solutions engineer, repair technician and technology sales lead. As the Vice President of Operations, Alan oversees all internal infrastructure. This includes active directory, networking, system provisioning, dev-ops and more. Alan specializes in finding, implementing, integrating and maintaining solutions from business to technical process shortcomings. He is constantly looking to make iterative improvements to DataXstream’s infrastructure and technical stacks. Alan is a key component of driving DataXstream’s innovation.

Craig’s Bio

With over 25 years of experience working with software providers, Craig Schertler is a seasoned expert in the industry. During his career, he has served in a variety of roles, including consulting services, sales support, solution go-to-marketing, and partnerships.
Prior to joining DataXstream, Craig spent 19 years working within SAP’s Consumer Industries Business Unit and Industry Partner Ecosystem teams. He was responsible for developing key partnerships that extended SAP’s services capacity and capability as well as building relationships with software vendors, helping to expand SAP’s solution portfolio.
Craig’s role at DataXstream is to develop and extend the company’s global partner ecosystem.
